Are there any precautions I need to know before using this product?
This product contains azelaic acid, which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use SPF, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

How often can I use this?
This product has been designed for daily use, both morning and evening. Always patch test first, gradually introducing any new product into your routine depending on your skin's tolerance.

We recommend you use it 3 times a week to start, gradually increasing frequency to every night as your skin tolerates. Everyone's skin is different, so it's important to listen to your skin's tolerance and not rush moving to a higher strength—especially if you have sensitive skin. You'll still see results, they may just take a little longer.

Is it OK to use this product in a routine with other exfoliants or actives?
Yes, you can use azelaic acid alongside products which have exfoliating ingredients (e.g. other AHA/BHAs, acids, vitamin A or facial scrubs), but do so with caution as azelaic acid has mild exfoliating properties. Over-use of this type of ingredients can increase the risk of irritation and dryness—especially if you have sensitive skin.
