How the AI Quiz works

• The scan is combined with the customer’s questionnaire answers.
• It identifies skin type, age range and the severity of skin concerns.
• It prioritises primary and secondary concerns for recommendations.
• It can detect early pigmentation and fine lines.
• The face scan is “processed locally in the user's browser using on-device deep learning models.
• No image is transmitted, stored, or shared online outside the user's browser.

How Holition, our quiz partner, manages scans & data

The AI technology processes the scan entirely on-device and within the user’s browser. As a result, Holition does not collect, access, process or store any user data generated through the quiz.

This includes facial images, questionnaire responses, user behaviour profiles, personal information, facial analysis results and email addresses. Holition therefore does not act as a third-party data processor or data storage provider for this information.

What data is captured?

At Facetheory, if you choose to submit your email address and opt in to receive emails through the quiz, this information is captured by Facetheory only.
