Resurf AHA und BHA – Peelingserum

If you're after smoother texture, clearer skin, and a luminous glow, this is the serum for you.

This dual-action exfoliating serum combines 5% glycolic acid (AHA) and 2% salicylic acid (BHA) to refine texture and promote a brighter complexion. Glycolic acid helps accelerate cell turnover, while salicylic acid unclogs pores and controls excess oil to help keep skin clear.

This product is unfragranced.

5% Glycolic Acid (an AHA)

Exfoliates the skin by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells to encourage cell turnover and reveal a smoother and more luminous complexion.

2% Salicylic Acid (a BHA)

Helps unclog pores and loosen dead skin cells to leave skin looking clearer, smoother, and brighter. BHAs can help to regulate sebum production and target blemish-causing bacteria.

Carnitine

An amino acid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, carnitine enhances skin hydration and helps control sebum production.

After cleansing and toning, apply a few pumps of product and massage into damp skin, avoiding eye area. Follow with a moisturiser of your choice.

Are there any precautions I need to know before using this product?
This product contains alpha (AHA) and beta hydroxy acids (BHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. Use SPF, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
For external use only. Always patch test prior to use and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid eye area. If direct contact with eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dark place.

How often can I use this?
This product has been designed for daily use. Always patch test first, gradually introducing any new product into your routine depending on your skin's tolerance.

We recommend you use it 3 times a week to start, gradually increasing frequency to every night as your skin tolerates. Everyone's skin is different, so it's important to listen to your skin's tolerance and not rush moving to a higher strength—especially if you have sensitive skin. You'll still see results, they may just take a little longer.

Can I use this during pregnancy and/or while breastfeeding?
This product is safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, it is always best to consult your doctor or healthcare professional before use.

Is it OK to use this product in a routine with other exfoliants or actives?
Be mindful not to use this product in combination with too many other products which have exfoliating ingredients (e.g. other AHA/BHAs, acids, vitamin A, or facial scrubs) as over-exfoliation of the skin can lead to dryness and a weakening of your skin barrier. Always patch test first, gradually introducing any new product into your routine as your skin tolerates.

Don't forget your SPF! Products with exfoliation make the skin even more vulnerable to UV damage.
