Overview

  • A silky, easily spread sunscreen for face and body. Sunfragma ZnO with SPF50 combines a non-nano physical zinc oxide filter and best-in-class UVA and UVB chemical filters (Tinosorb® S and Uvinul® A Plus) to provide broad-spectrum protection without causing sensitivity. Recommended for most skin types, including sensitive skin.
  • Sunfragma ZnO is a creamy balm that goes on white and dries clear within a minute. Quickly absorbs into skin leaving a satiny sheen and with minimal whitening and chalkiness.
  • Sunfragma is formulated without alcohol, so it won't sting upon application and is less likely to dry out your skin.
  • In-vivo testing shows that by modulating the expression of P53, sunburn cell, MMP-1 and collagen and major changes in secreted proteins that modify keratinocyte, melanocyte and fibroblast cell behaviour, hydroxystearic acid ameliorates conspicuous pores and facial spots.

Active Ingredients
ZINC OXIDE
A photo-stable, FDA-approved mineral ingredient that provides effective protection against both UVA and UVB rays by reflecting light off its surface. The zinc oxide we use is coated with stearic acid and is non-nano.
HHYDROXYSTEARIC ACID
A non-irritating emollient derived from castor oil that acts as an inhibitor against UVB stress. In-vivo studies have shown it to reduce enlarged pores and dark spots.
TINOSORB® S
AA broad-spectrum oil-soluble UV filter with proven high efficiency at low concentration. Not harmful to aquatic life
UVINUL® A PLUS
AA photo-stable and preservative-free UVA filter that protects skin against free radicals and environmental damage. Not harmful to aquatic life
+Directions

Apply to dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using half a teaspoon of sunscreen for your face and 2 tablespoons for your body.

As with all sun protection, reapply after heavy perspiration, swimming or towelling. We recommend that you avoid sun exposure from 11am until 3pm. Seek shade and cover up. Overexposure to the ultraviolet radiation in sunlight is associated with serious health risks. Can be layered over your favourite Facetheory moisturiser as your invisible daily defence. May cause discoloration of fabrics.
