Overview

  • The actives in our leave-on hand mask work together perfectly to rehydrate and refresh stressed skin. Photoaging disruptor Micah® defends against free radical damage while Granactive Retinoid® and premium organic oils expedite cell renewal and enhance collagen production, and vitamin E and urea boost and protect skin’s moisture levels, leaving hands feeling soft, hydrated and smooth.
  • Granactive retinoid is a delivery system for a retinoic acid ester called hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR), which binds itself to the retinoid receptors in your skin cells. It behaves similarly to retinol but is associated with less irritation.
  • Micah® (not to be confused with the mineral mica) is a group of structures that work to defend against the environmental damage that causes cellular ageing. It quenches the photoexcited chromophores (such as melanin) that would otherwise generate reactive oxygen species, thus disrupting the occurrence of solar-induced oxidative stress.
  • Baobab kukui nut and rice bran oils hydrate and protect while helping reduce inflammation.
  • Vitamin E hydrates and protects while fighting toxins and reducing UV damage. Urea helps dry skin to shed so that skin can absorb and retain moisture.
  • The silky yellow masque is fragrance free and absorbs completely into skin. There’s no need to rinse it off.
  • As this product may cause increased sensitivity to the sun we recommend using at night and using sun protection during the day.
  • Free from parabens, silicones, PEGs, SLS, SLES and mineral oils. Vegan and free from animal testing. Made in the UK.

Active Ingredients
BAOBAB OIL
A soothing, silky oil extracted from the African baobab, also known as the Tree of Life. High in palmitic, oleic and linoleic acids, it reduces inflammation and replenishes collagen.
GRANACTIVE RETINOID®
A delivery system for a retinoic acid ester called hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR), which binds itself to the retinoid receptors in your skin cells. It behaves similarly to retinol but does not need to be converted and is associated with less sensitivity. Granactive Retinoid® is a trademark of Grant Industries.
KUKUI NUT OIL
Extracted from a Polynesian nut tree, this light, silky oil is beneficial for dry, combination and oily skin types. High in linoleic and linolenic acids, it has proven efficacy in reducing clogged pores and inflammation and treating sunburn and eczema.
MICAH®
Micah® technology (Bis(Cyano Butylacetate) Anthracenediylidene) disrupts the occurrence of solar-induced oxidative stress by quenching the photoexcited chromophores that generate reactive oxygen species (ROS).
NIACINAMIDE
Also known as niacin (vitamin B3), it helps reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.
RICE BRAN OIL
High in Omega-6. Hydrates and protects dry, chapped skin.
RICE FERMENT
Rice water, a byproduct of rice washing, is fermented with yeast to produce new peptides. Rice ferment has shown efficacy in rebuilding collagen and reducing transepidermal water loss.
UREA
A keralytic substance that increases skin’s moisture content by dissolving keratin to help dead skin cells to shed, so that the skin retains more water. Used in topical creams to promote the rehydration of dry skin.
VITAMIN E
A fat-soluble vitamin that hydrates your skin, leaving it feeling full and fresh. Facetheory vitamin E is derived from natural sources and contains and contains alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols to fight toxins and reduce UV damage.

Apply to clean hands after washing or whenever they feel dry. Perfect to use at bedtime and leave on overnight.

This product contains retinol, which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
